Screenwriting Concentration. Prerequisite:  ENGL 1301. Course instruction is online; coursework can be completed fully online with weekly deadlines. No previous Creative Writing is required. Tests may also be taken online. Some tests may require proctoring. Students can access online proctoring on their own computer for a fee of approximately $20/hour, in-person proctoring at an approved testing site that may charge a fee or in-person proctoring at an ACC Instructional Testing Center for free. Memoir Concentration. Prerequisite: English 1301. Flexible, asynchronous, online instruction. In this course you will study the principles of writing memoir and personal essay. We will accomplish this as a group by exploring various memoir pieces through both reading and writing. Our goals are to sharpen your writing and develop your writing voice. No textbook required. Coursework can be completed fully online with weekly deadlines. There are no in-person requirements.
